Knead

505 North High St. (614) 228-6323 (SHORT NORTH)

Knead isn’t shy about the fact that their food is locally produced in Ohio – and you can taste the difference. Their extra-flaky Homemade Pierogies melt in your mouth. These delectable pierogies are served with substantial bratwursts or, for the vegetable enthusiast, topped with seasonal vegetables, black beans and crème fraiche, complete with a flavorful backdrop of balsamic vinegar. We tried The Motherclucker ($9) a huge sandwich with buttermilk fried Gerber chicken breast with house-cured bacon and jack cheese. What really closes this deal is the roasted poblano chile with a hint of honey, giving it a subtle but awe-inspiring sweet and spicy dynamic.
