126 Years of CCAD

The prestigious Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) will present their 126th Annual Student Exhibition through August 28th.  This is a must-see exhibit, showcasing some of the country’s best student talent.

Each year the renowned CCAD faculty carefully selects 2,000 works of art that showcase the year’s best work from the college’s talented students: the future artists, graphic designers, filmmakers and art teachers of America.

The show will cover many categories including fine art, design, illustration, and film—representing each of the college’s seven distinct majors.

“Showcasing both fine art and design-related disciplines in a gallery setting allows the public to see that there are similar creative processes involved in seemingly different areas of art and design,” says CCAD President Denny Griffith.

The exhibition runs through August 28 at Canzani Center. Gallery hours are: Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  For more information, visit www.ccad.edu or call (614) 224-9101.
