This Cadillac Eldorado Seville was delivered to a California dealer in Cotillion White with Red Leather interior—one of 1,075 built for its final production year of 1960. Before being delivered to the ordering customer, this car was painted Mango and the interior redone in White Leather with Chocolate trim and carpet. It cost $7,401, plus the costs of the color and interior change. It was one of the most expensive cars of any make sold that year. The 390 CI V8 with 3-2 barrel carburetors boasts 345 Horsepower. It can cruise at 80 mph all day long and thanks to a modern stereo, it can do it with great tunes. This particular Eldo’ spent several years in Japan and was owned for 10 years by Alexandra Kingston, who is better known as Dr. Elizabeth Corday on the TV show ER.
I traded my 1964 Cadillac LowMo for this very rare car, probably less than 200 of them survive that still ride on the factory Air Ride Suspension. This Cadillac option was 40 years ahead of its time.
